I'm using Google Translate, but since much of the page is made of images, I'm not sure if I'm reading this properly. Could someone please tell me if this means that one way tickets on the jet foil from Nagasaki - Goto are 3500 yen a piece? Thank you so much! http://www.kyusho.co.jp/kouro/

According to the page, one way tickets cost 5,730 for a piece, which includes 1,360 express fee and 720 fuel surcharge on it. I am not sure where on this page you've got the fare price "3,500." Round tickets cost 11,000 for a person. There also are some other discount tickets available for students and groups.
I hope you know that all go to Fukue on the southern island but some do not go to Narae on the north.

Hi June, the one-way 3500 yen fare on your listed link is for the high speed ferry but it does not go down to the south island of Fukue. The following webpage is the schedule and fare for the jetfoil. http://www.kyusho.co.jp/kouro/n-jf.php When are you going? We too are captivated by the tranquility and the beautiful cinematography of the islands after seeing the movie Have a Song on Your Lips earlier this year. Can we ask a favour of you to come back and give us a feedback of your visit as we too want to travel there if we get a chance to re-visit Kyushu again!?

Shintoshrine & William5, thank you for your kind assistance! Hmm. So that is a bit pricey for the round trip, but not outrageous for my husband and myself. Thank you for the specifics as to where the boat will go and not go.
William5, I'd be more than happy to update here if we make it to the islands! Now I'll have to watch that movie as well! :)

Oh, and we would be going either November 15 or 16. We are meeting my cousin in Nagasaki so he may want to go with us on the weekend, or he may not, so we would just go while we still have a free day.
