Hi, Since I have a small tattoo on my shoulder I want to cover it up with some kind of skin coloured bandaid tape.
I forgot to buy back home so now I need to look for some here in Japan. Where can I find such?
It should be waterproof at least since I will be in a bath...

Say 'Big Band-aid, please! '. All Japanese people know what Bandaid is.

The packaging will usually have a drop of water or something similar to denote waterproof, but usually band-aids are waterproof.

You can show your tattoo to the clerk and say you "kavaa shitai (want to cover)" it, and that you need a "bando-eido (bandaid)" that is "woo-taa-pu-ruufu (waterproof)".
Anyway, say all these words in Queen's English (British-style) and they would understand. But Band-Aid brand packages are basically the same all over the world.

Just show the photo then! Have it printed out at your hotel if you're not carrying a smartphone. Those tapes are commonly available at drug stores.

Once you have the plaster, are you OK with sticking it on?
