Hi,

Kindly advise if there is a cheaper option to get to Sheraton miyako hotel from narita airport other than taxi & airport limo bus.

if I am only in Tokyo for 2 days should I buy any day passes for transportation. How can I save on transport when going around.

From sheraton miyako hotel, which are the places of interest I can go via walking.

thank you very much.

Local train to Shinagawa station and then taxi to hotel. This takes longer as the train stops at every station, but will cost you total about 2300 yens compared to 3000 yens by airport bus.
If I were you, I would just take the airport bus.

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo locates in an inconvenience area called "Shirogane", so I recommend you to get there by limosine bus for the most economical way.

The cheapest option is to change your hotel as there are much cheaper ones available throughout Tokyo. If it's not possible, this has to be the cheapest way. Take a limousine bus to Tokyo station and reserve a seat 900 yen and take JR Yamanote line to Meguro station (200 yen), then free shuttle bus to the hotel.

I also agree with the "Change your hotel" option.

I usually stay at a hotel that is next to a station on the Yamanote Loop line. I have stayed three times off of the Yamanote line, and found myself going back almost every day to get somewhere.

I now usually stay near Nipori Station, which is between Ueno and Ikebukuro station on the Yamanote line. Ueno and Nippori stations are not only a JR stations, but they are also a Keisei stations, which has trains that go directly to Narita Airport. If you plan to take the Narita Express (NEX), there are several stations on the Yamanote loop that are served directly from Narita Airport (Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Shinagawa come to mind).

I hope this helps.
