Kyoto - 2 day trip

Hi..Iam travelling to Kyoto for two nights between 10-12 Nov. We have 5 yr old with us so wanna keep it light. Some of the places on my list are - fushimi inari shrine , Kinkakuji, Arashiyama, bamboo grooves, Kiyomizudera and Higashiyama district.
Southern and western kyoto in one day and eastern Kyoto on the other day. Is half day trip to Nara suggested?

Is there any specific places I must visit for Autumn colors?

You won't have time to see Nara with only two days in Kyoto. The things you want to do are two full days.

Day 1: Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizudera, other parts of Higashiyama you want to see
Day 2: Kinkakuji, Arashiyama (bamboo grove)

If you want to see specific places for autumn colours, you can consider seeing Tofukuji between Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizudera

since you have anyhow only 2 days, you could do only nara instead of kyoto this time maybe? your kid may like nara more, cause there are deer running around everywhere. and next time you go save proper time for kyoto (4-5 days should do)
