Hello, I plan on spending a night in Koyasan, in a shukubo. I found one called Muryoko-in, not too expensive. Is it a good place ? Thank you.

The thing about koyasan is that you get a reasonably priced lodging, see the pictures, and go ahead. If prices are too high or seems much lower than average or has ugly pictures, don't book it. Location also matters. Near the main temple of Kongo works best

I stayed there for two nights back in 2009, I think. It was very basic as far as the room - no private bathroom that is, but the toilets and bath were fine as was the food. Also they do the fire ceremony in the morning, quite interesting. I would recommend it.
