Hi,
My friend and I would be travelling to Japan from 20 April - 2 May 2016 and I know the Alpine route would be open.
I would like to check what's the best way to get there and where shall we stay? Is it nearer to travel from Osaka to Mt Tateyama or from Tokyo?
I came across 2 JR passes, one which is the Takayama- Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass and the other is the JR Kansai Hokuriku Area Pass. Which is a better choice if I would to travel from Osaka or Kyoto to Mt Tateyama?
