JR Kansai Hokuriku Area Pass in Kyoto 2015/11/25 15:41
I was ploughing through the pass valid area of use and have the below question:

I notice I can use the pass within Osaka city JR but in all of the pass description for Kyoto, it is between the JR Kosei line with Tsuruga.
Does that means I cannot use for example the kyoto JR Saga-Arashiyama line?

Please advise...thanks!

Saga-Arashiyama station is on the Kyoto/Fukuchiyama section so it is covered.

Sorry Firas & Hiro, I have copied and pasted the wrong pass for the same area…it is the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass that I was referring to….

Then no, not covered. You can use an IC card to pay for this trip.
