Is mt.fuji 5th station kawaguchiko accessable by private car in december?
as I know buses has stopped operating in december.

The Fuji-Subaru-line is opened throughout a year unless bad weather condition.
In December, the road is opened between 9:00 -16:00(descending gate closes at 17:00). Now you can ascend up t the 4th station, the 5th station is closed due to frozen road condition. The road charge is 2,060 Yen whole road or 620 Yen partly.
It's currently the 1st and 4th parking toiletry services are available.

In December 2014, they opened the road up to the 5th station in only three days,
i.e., 1 Dec 2014, 2 Dec 2014, and 10 Dec 2014 (all from 9:00).
Today, we can go only up to the 4th station.
