Snow in Kawaguchiko

Hi
We are a group travellers who are planning to spend New Year's eve/day in Kawaguchiko. I would like to know where we can have a good view of Mt Fuji and at the same time experience snow/see some snowy place? This will be our first time in the area.

We were there about 10 days ago, and yes it is a good location for viewing Mt. Fuji. It's up to the weather - when we were there, on the second day, we enjoyed a clear view of the mountain.
Inns in that area are asking drivers to come equipped with snow tires or chain if you are coming during Dec. - Mar., as "it could snow any time now," so there is a chance of snow at Lake Kawaguchi level. But you'd never know.
