How to get from Sendai to Oishida by train? How much time will it take?

If using Japan Rail Pass or JR East Pass
take JR Senzan line(rapid is faster than local) to Yamagata
then take Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa(JR Ouu line) to Oishida is the fastest.

If not take JR Senzan line(rapid is faster than local) to Uzenchitose
then take regular JR Ouu line local train to Oishida. (operate numbers not enough)

Or detour route as up to north first
take Tohoku Shinkansen(most Hayabusa skipped) to Furukawa
then take JR Rikuu-Tousen line regular local train to Shinjou
then down to south Oishida by Yamagata Shinkansen or regular local train.
