Mt Fuji in winter 2015/12/15 05:52
Hi we had wanted to stay at MT FUji but many posts indicate that there are issues with snow and access. Is it still worthwhile to visit MT Fuji in winter or are the roads closed? And also is Disneyland still open.

We are travelling late January. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When people stay in the Mt Fuji area, they usually don't mean the mountain itself (which is generally unaccessible and dangerous in winter past the 5th station) but the surrounding areas in places like Hakone, Fuji Five Lakes, or Shizuoka.

There's more info on places around the mountain to visit at the bottom of this page: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2172.html

Disneyland is open every day in January: http://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/calendar/january_e.html
