Shirakawago Light Up event

Hi all
I wonder what is in the light up event. Do they have any shows or performances?
My concern is that the light up event starts from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. However, our tour bus will leave shirakawago at 7:15 p.m. It means that we will miss out for the last 45 mins. Yet, if we want to stay for the whole event. We will need to take a taxi, then we will need to increase our budget.
Just want to make sure that is it a good idea to leave early? Will we miss out anything?

During ligh up day , where can park the car ?
What time the car park will be close ?
If I arrival before 3pm , can I park inside the village ?
