Takayama-Hirayu bus during matsuri

Hello!

I have googled everywhere and am unable to find an answer, hope someone can help me.

My sister and I are travelling in to Takayama on the 14th and 15th of April 2016. We are staying at a Ryokan close to Hirayu Hot Springs, which is easy enough to reach by bus.

But, on the night of the 14th there will be night festivities which we would like to see - however I think the last bus leaves Takayama station at 6:40pm which doesn't give us much time.

Does anyone know if they run busses later during the festival dates? Or if there is any other bus that may leave later? If not I might just have to take an expensive taxi!

I recommend asking your accommodation. I am not able to confirm but maybe some of the accommodations in Hirayu offer special shuttle buses for staying guests.
