From Shinano Omachi to Mt Fuji by bus?

I'm planning to visit Alpine Route in May 16. Due to tight budget, i am considering to take bus to go to Mt Fuji from Shinano Omachi. Can u advice the route plan and cost? Thanks in advance.

No direct bus as regular and seasonal both.

From bus terminal near JR Matsumoto stn to Kawaguchiko stn by expway bus exist
but operate numbers not enough only one on every morning.

By only regular trains no using LtdExp about 4500Y
but take around 6 hours too long no good.

Try hitchhike?
if possible catch/find except Nagano: 長野 number(licence plate) car.

Nagano means City of Nagano not for Matsumoto as direction.
Yamanashi and more far Tokyo areas number car/truck best.

Also "わ(wa) number" means car rent("Ren-ta car" in Japan) by travelers a lot.

As far as I know, the most econoimical route would be this:
Shinano-Omachi/5:32=(JR train: 670 yen)=6:26/Matsumoto=Matsumoto Bus Terminal/7:05=(Fujikyu bus: 2150 yen)=9:41/Kawaguchiko
Matsumoto BT is just in front of JR Matsumoto station East exit: GoogleMaps says 3 minutes on foot. There is only one bus in a day between Matsumoto and Kawaguchiko. If there is no need, there is no service.

Shinano-Omachi/17:19=(JR train(s): 3350 yen)=21:25/Otsuki/22:06=(Fujikyu train: 1140 yen)=23:03/Kawaguchiko
