Using JR Pass

Hi,
I am confusing if I should buy JR Hokaido Pass 7 days or 14 days JR Pass or just buy individual ticket with the schedule attached :
Day I Narita Nagano
Day 2 Nagano - MAtsumoto - Tokyo
Day 3 Tokyo - Narita - Chitose - Tomamu
Day 4 Tomamu – Obihiro (JR Pass)
Day 5 Obihiro – Kushiro (JR Pass)
Day 6 Kushiro Lake Akan (By Bus)
Day 7 Lake Akan – Kitami (by shuttle bus), then Kitami – Abashiri (JR Pass)
Day 8 Abashiri – Asahikawa (JR Pass)
Day 9 Asahikawa – Sapporo (JR Pass)
Day 10 Sapporo otaru (JR Pass)
Day 11 Sapporo & flight back
If i buy 7 days JR Hokaido, so for day 1-4 I will buy individual ticket,is this eficient as I wanna go to Nagano n matsumoto. Or better i buy 14 days JR Pass?

Use Hyperdia (hyperdia.com/en) to calculate all your train fares to decide which pass or combination of passes is best.
