Hi, may I know how big is Ashikaga flower park? We will be going on 11 May 2016. How long do I need to visit on day time and also the night view? We want to plan our time. Thanks!!

As flower parks go, I would say "quite large", but it is not as big as many large parks that I have visited. Probably more relevant is that the park is divided into themed areas - normally there is one area with good flowers at any one time - sometimes more. http://www.ashikaga.co.jp/english/index.htmlWhen I visited last year it was roses (although past their best) and they were still preparing for the winter illuminations and doing a lot of construction work. Only spent between 1-2 hours looking around.
