Hello! I am trying to plan which places to see in Kyoto in the evening of the 2nd, and all day on the 3rd. This link lists quite a few options, from last year:- http://www.kyotoguide.com/ver2/event/event%20archive2-.htmAre there any in particular that I should try and attend? What are the crowds like? Do you have to arrive early to get a reasonable view of some? The event at Yasaka Shrine looks good, with the Geiko/Maiko throwing beans. The lighting of the bon fire at Yoshida Shrine also looks interesting, and the food stalls and Karo-sai festival from 23:00 sound great too. Any better resources in English for details on what happens on the day at each place? Thank you!
