Planning a 5N6D trip from 19th February 2016

Need guidance on places to visit and type of clothing required. We are in our 60's.

Places to visit: Japan is a big country - which cities are you visiting? Where are you flying in/out of? What kind of things do you want to see? Have you tried looking at this website for ideas?

Clothing: Look at past weather reports. They're easy to find on Google. This website also has an information page that breaks down the weather by area (I think it's titled "When to Visit").

Sorry I was on the Hokkaido page so did not mention this in my question. We shall be arriving from KL to Chitose airport and plan to visit Sapporo, and a few cities nearby using the JR railway network.
