Hi all,
I am divorced and making arrangements to marry another Japanese girl. I was wondering what my status will show on new wife's koseki tohon(family register)? Will it be husband? Or divorced husband(batsu ichi)?
Thanks.

As far as I know, her marriage to you will be entered into the "remarks" column of her koseki. It will say: she got married under the law of (country where you will get married) on (date) to Mr. so-and-so.
(I am Japanese national and my spouse is non-Japanese; he has had one divorce before he got married to me, and our original non-Japanese marriage certificate shows it, but his past divorce does not appear in my koseki.)
