Sakura in Matsumae Castle

Hi,
We will be in Hokkaido till end of April2017.
Is there any chance of seeing Sakura at Matsumae ?
We are thinking of going there from Hakodate on 24th April.
Is there any direct bus from Hokadate?

Matsumae has an atypically long blooming season so there should still be some species in bloom through April. More info here:
