Transfer from Narita T3 to T2 by shuttle bus

Hi,
we arrive into Narita T3 but need to get quickly to T2. I can see from the maps that there is a shuttle bus that takes 5mins between T3 and T2. From the maps it looks as if we come in on 1F but we need to go to 2F to get the shuttle bus that leaves from 1F. Is that correct? Is there some way to just go directly for the first floor out to the shuttle bus that will take us to T2?

You can really just walk from T3 to T2 if you don't have a ton of luggage, there are indications on the floor and it's like 500 meters, if you miss the bus you might as well just walk instead of waiting for the next one.
I did it the other day and really, it's not far :)

Unless you have trouble walking, walk. Faster.

Thanks everyone for your comments. 4 hours sleep, 20 hours of continuous travel, suitcases and a child, we were better off taking the shuttle! Luckily there are markings on the floor that took us directly to the shuttle (the online maps are a bit confusing). A shuttle arrived within a couple of minutes and got us to T2 in 5 mins. A friend who had met us there had said with luggage and child it probably would have taken 15 mins-20 mins to walk. We needed to make the last skyliner from the airport in order to make the rest of our connecting trains to our final destination in Tokyo. The good news for any future travelers with a similar query is we arrived on a week night at 9.30pm on a domestic flight from Osaka (having arrived into Osaka on an international flight) and we were able to collect our bags, get to T2 from T3 and catch the skyliner all within an hour.
