I f I take Skyliner from
Asakusa to Narita; is there a transfer?, or straight to the airport.

The Skyliner does not go to Asakusa. If you want to take the Skyliner, a transfer is necessary at Ueno. Alternatively, take regular Keisei trains. Some are direct. Others require a transfer at Aoto. It is all explained here:
