6 months pass for Tokyu Tokoyo line 2016/4/4 19:48
I have a Suica card right now. Up until 31st March I was using using this to travel from Gumyoji to Yokohama (subway blue line) and Yokohama to shinkawasaki (Yokosuka JR line). It was a 6 months pass and it just got expired recently.
I moved to a new place and now I travel from myorenji to motosumiyoshi station (Tokyu Toyoko line) to get to work.

My questions,

1. Can I renew the same Suica card for 6 months with the new route?
2. Do I need to different pass on the whole for traveling this new route and How do I go about getting one?

Since the section is entirely on non-JR lines, you must use a Pasmo, not a Suica. You can buy the commuter pass at a vending machine at any Tokyu station.

Thanks for clarifying!

Can I get blank pasmo card for six months or do I need to register my details for it?

Can I again renew a blank one after six months?

Do I still hold onto my suica even after I get a pasmo if I'm going to travel on other lines?

You must register basic information like name, address, etc. when using a commuter pass, you cannot use a blank card.

You can keep your Suica if you want but there's not really any point; a Paqmo works just as well.

Oh,this is Life category Q ... but anyway,
need PASMO commuter pass(定期券/teiki-ken) or not
depend on using for over 17 days(round/34 times) total per one month.
6 months commuter pass discount rate highest than 1 and 3 months pass.

Registration by ticket vending machine possible with bule sticker/sign on top.
Tokyu Web mentioned about registration steps with screen images.
http://www.tokyu.co.jp/railway/guide/vending_machines/commuter_passes....
新規(sinn-ki) means "first time",
継続(kei-zoku) means "continue" from 14 days before of last month
(purchasing by credit card also possible) so no need new pass again when expired.
Input personal info part no need your address(住所/jyuu-syo).

But unfortunately both stations no commuter pass counter(定期券うりば -uriba).

So only by machine and not sure regist menu will be perfectly same or not
by touching "English" button first. (maybe possible I guess)

And vending machines replacement started from last month to new one
for "auto charge(オートチャージ/recharge automatically by credit card)" procedure function plus.
http://www.pasmo.co.jp/use/autocharge/ (no mentioned detail in ENG page)
Also machine fram color changing from Orange to Silver?(thin Gray?) from major stns.

Old Suica card no need return to JR as deposit also barance(charge in JP) refund.
PASMO and Suica both are validity is same except commuter pass part
so why not keep for shopping/at restaurant or if lost/broken as e-money/spare?
But small note exist over two IC cards together(pile up/close) into wallet/cellphone case
will be reading error by radio wave interference when touching at ticket gate or.
(in this case need protection sheet for noise cancel)
