Hello! I know we will be too late for the hanami season in tokyo. Our arrival will be on 25th of april, but do you think we could still see even those late blooming varieties? We dont possess a JR pass so we could not go further than Mt fuji and Hakone. Please suggest places nearby Tokyo?

Probably too late. But you could consider gettin a JR East Tohoku Area Pass and visit the wonderful cherry blossom spots of the northern Tohoku Region.
