Snow in Gala Yuzawa in mid May?

I plan to visit Gala Yuzawa on 16 or 17 May 2016. Could I still see the snow? Which area that we can see a lot of snow during that season? Is it in Kagura? For 5 years child, is it possible to do snow boarding?
How much the ticket price for half day activities for adult and 5 years kid? Does JR pass offers discount to the entrance ticket? or Do we still need to buy Tokyo Wide Pass, because I heard Tokyo Wide Pass offers some discount in Gala Yuzawa area.

The season is already ended at Gala Yuzawa by then. For Kagura, the season usually goes into late May (often with fake snow). I don't know of any other resorts that go that late other than Kagura... you could check snowjapan to see if there are any others. You might have to go much further north for them though.
