Omotesando-Aoyama architecture walks 2016/4/8 22:36
Does anyone know any web resources for self-guided walks to see the best architecture in these areas, please?
I know that simply walking up Omotesando itself will take us past some stunning buildings, but I suspect there may be a few things off the main road that we might otherwise miss.
Thanks a lot

Other, some Harajuku church is in the Watari-um or nearby, also, such as the Brazilian Embassy.
Watari-um -Mario Botta design.
Harajuku Church - Henri Geidan (CIEL ROUGE CREATION) + Fumiko Kaneko design.
Brazil Embassy - Louis Otake design.
From First Building next to the COLLEZIONE also interesting.
Completed in 1976.
Kazumasa Yamashita design.

Here's a DIY tour of notable contemporary architecture in Tokyo. There's also a map linked from that page, so you can choose which areas to see. http://whereintokyo.com/dbinx/notarch.html

Thanks everyone. Some great tips!
I was silly and only asked my question the night before we were going to the area.
We had a great time though, and saw some great buildings (although not all of the ones suggested above - so I hope we get the chance to see them on a future trip).
Thanks again...
