Sakura in Yoshino (Nara) on 13 April 2016/4/10 11:57
Will I see the peak bloom on 13 April? I see some full bloom pictures from Yoshino so I wonder.

Thank you

April 13 is a little late for the peak even in the upper third (Kamisenbon, 上千本). And the lower areas will likely be considerably beyond peak which may make for a disappointing first impression.

As for the Okusenbon area, I recommend to keep your expectations low. There aren't many trees, and they don't have the same nice views as the lower areas.

Here is the official website for the state of the blossoms:

Also, as of now, the weather doesn't seem nice for the 13th. The predicted rain may take down many of the remaining petals.

Thank you very much.
I will go to stay in Fukuoka and considering if it's worth to go to Yoshino.
