alpine route and kamikochi

we were thinking of doing something like this:
taking some after noon train from Kyoto to Toyama. spend the night. do the alpine route next day, straight after that get to Matsumoto. spend the night. next morning travel to Kamikochi and after that (same day) take a train to Tokyo.
is this doable? can we get to matsumoto and tokyo after those day trips?

That sounds do-able if you use a JR Rail Pass and use Limited Express trains.
