It should be less crowded than during Golden Week because most students have to go to school, but it is likely somewhat more crowded than a regular weekday.

USJ is always crowded. Don't expect it to be quiet if someone says "not super crowded". Weekdays are the best choice, and as long as it is not a holiday (after Golden Week, so not), it should be fine.

@sq i do hope usj will be as quite as regular weekday when i visit. after reading a "horror" story on forum, about somebody queue at 9am, and getting their harry Potter timed ticket around 6pm,,, i kind of wondering what will happen to my timed ticket if i come to usj around 10am...

I went to USJ on a "normal" weekday in November 2014; I entered at 3pm and got a 5.30pm Harry Potter ticket. But it will depend on the day!
