advance train ticket to Kurobe Gorge?

I will be in Toyama on 25 May 2016 , and wish to visit Kurobe Gorge .
I cannot speak or read Japanese, so how can I pre- book train tickets in advance? Is it okay if I buy ticket on date of travelling ?

no need to read japanese. they have an english website also.
tickets are sold at the station. first come, first served basis.
