Driving in Kobe

I'm going to kobe for a day trip frm Osaka. At first we plan to take train as everyone normally do but its seem like places we want to go are more out of the city area so we thought of renting a car frm Osaka for the trip. Places we are visiting : Kinrin Brewery, Glico Pai Factory, Shoes Plaza, Sake Brewery etc. I want to know is it a good choice to drive in Kobe . Is it hard to find parking in Kobe .
Moreover, we want to hv kobe beef either tepan or yakiniyu . Pls recommend any good restaurant for beef lover and also other food that we shouldn't hv miss in Kobe .
