Hi,
My trip to Japan this coming December will be mostly in downtown Tokyo & to Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone & Kamakura.
I know Suica can be used in downtown Tokyo but can Suica be use when travel to Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone & Kamakura? I want to save some money by not buying the JR Pass.
Is it advisable to only use Suica? TQVM.

A JR pass is not advisable for your itinerary as it won't pay off. Better to use a suica and possibly a combination of other passes/discounts to save money. See the individual location access pages for more info.

Can the Fuji Hakone Pass be bought at the airport or any metro station?

Not at any metro station, but you can purchase it at all of the relevant stations that you might pass through, which means Shinjuku or Odawara to most itineraries.
