White business lightweight shirt 2016/5/3 16:42
Summer is on its way and I hate the sweatiness of it all. I bought some (thin material) ultra-lightweight half-sleeve white shirts years back that have been great, but now well past best-by date. They seemed to soak up the sweat and dried out quickly.

Regular shirts, like those I see in Aeon are just regular materials to my mind, whereas I really want the thinnest/lightest possible.

In short, I need to buy more, but what do I ask for in Japanese?

Also, if anyone has links to such products on line that I could buy or use by way of example, that would be great.

The sort of shirts you're looking for are called 'dry' shirts or 'cool dry'.

Collared shirts such as for business use are called 'wai shatsu'.

Short sleeve is 'han sode'.

So you could ask for:

"han sode no dorai wai shatsu". This should be understood.

Uniqlo sells this sort of thing as do many other stores.
