Driving in Furano at night

Hello there,
May I know if it is ok to drive around Furano when the sky turns dark? It is my family 1st time visiting Furano for an overnight stay. We plan to drive to Ningle Terrace around 7:30pm after dinner near Furano station, as the Terrace closes at 8:45pm.
Any advice pls. Thank you.

Why not???
Most car rent EN car-navi with no problem.
About 6.5km/12min few signals very short drive.
Use Google Map also street view.
