Hi. Does anyone know of any local farms in Hokkaido where we can buy raw milk? Where can we buy goat's milk?
Which cow's milk would you recommend in terms of price and nutrition? Those that use Low heat method easily cost $10 usd for 2 packets or bottles. Do you believe in Low heat milk?
What is your favourite cow's milk?
Thanks :))

I used to drink Nagano brand. If you do find raw milk from a farmer, make sure you boil it. There is a reason why even traditional cultures around the world boil their milk before consuming. It may be illegal for them to sell raw milk in Japan like in Oz. In NZ they're allowed to sell it at the farm gate within a certain time frame - 48 hrs for example. My family drinks organic full cream milk which has flavor unlike the usual stuff. Good luck.
