Full size suite case on Shinkansen Gran Class

Hello,
I am planning on taking Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hokkaido Shin-Hakodate.
I would like to try Gran Class and I just have one concern. I'll be traveling with full-size suite case this time. There is noway this will fit in the overhead-compartment. Even if it fits, I seriously doubt I can lift my loaded suite case that high. Will the Attendant help me store it somewhere safe like on the plane?
