Breakfast in toll service area?

I plan to hokkaido in july & plan to leave very early morning everyday. So i wanna ask : Have any breakfast at toll service area? Restaurant open? Or Only convenience store?

Restaurants usually open around 9 or 10. Combini and vending machines are available before then. You might get lucky and find a coffee shop like a starbucks that's open earlier, but if memory serves me right, even the PA starbucks aren't open super early.

What part of Hokkaido are you talking about? From where to where are you going every morning? You are driving a car, correct? There's a great difference depending on the location and transportation.

I forgot to ask how early you mean. But just to add to the other poster who already provided information on SAs, here is a list of cafes in Sapporo that are open from early in the morning. You can see from the numbers that these are mostly open from 6:30 or 7:00. http://matome.naver.jp/odai/2142882878139272101People who prefer to eat earlier than that typically bring their own lunch that they prepare the night before, or wait until they reach some place that is open. For example, Otaru is very close to Sapporo, so you might as well have a hearty meal after you reach the city.
