Tsukiji fish market 2016/6/15 14:52
I read that the Tsukiji fish market will be relocating to Toyosu in November 2016.

As I will be in japan end of Oct and beginning of Nov, where should I book a hotel as I want to see the auction? Exactly where is the new location of the new fish market

Also, What time should I be at the auction?

My son and his friends were turned away when they turned up at the auction at 4.30am.

Thanks

With the move to Toyosu, Tsukiji is closing to tourists during Oct & Nov so there won't be any chance to visit the auctions.

I know a company that offers access to the auctions and I believe they will be continuing that service after the shift, but it's really expensive.

Yes, the market will close on 2nd Nov so you will be fine in Oct.
