NEX Tokyo Round Trip Ticket - 14 day period

Hi

I will be arriving in Japan on July 4 and departing on July 18.

Would the 14 day period for the NEX Tokyo Round Trip ticket start on July 4, which would mean it would expire on July 17 (deeming it not useful in my case) or would the 14 day period start the day after?

Help I have looked everywhere for this answer and I'm very confused.

Calendar days (midnight to midnight) are used. So, if you start using it on the 4th, it expires on the 17th.

You could also just go to Narita on July 17, there is enough to do there for one day.

I would just take the rapid service. 1320 yen Narita to Tokyo, Tokyo to Narita stations. More if connecting to other stations further along.

But 2x 1320 yen is much cheaper than 4,000. And you don't have to worry about a 14 day return period.

The rapid services between Tokyo and Narita are about 15 minutes slower than the N'EX. N'EX = 70-73 mins, rapid 85-89 mins.

N'Ex services generally take an hour, and the rapid is about 30 minutes longer. Depends on your budget and time. There are other cheaper ways to transfer Tokyo area to Narita.
