Kintetsu 2 minute transfer time enough 2016/6/23 00:11
Hi,

I am planning to travel from Kyoto to Nagoya and I realized I need to transfer trains at YAMATOYAGI. I am using Hyperdia to plan the trip but the problem is Kyoto arrives at YAMATOYAGI at 20:03 and the train from YAMATOYAGI to NAGOYA leaves at 20:05. Is 2 minutes enough for me to transfer trains??? Are the trains right next to each other? Thanks

No problem but rear cars closer.
arr [5]ホーム/plaform to dep [1]or[2] upper floor
→ 近鉄名古屋 for: Kintetsu-Nagoya
Seems 1st LtdExp train is 6 cars. (end car is car No.6)

No need ticket gate out at YAMATOYAGI.
You can purchase/book both train's tickets once at Kyoto.

Do you have luggage? Heavy luggage? Do you need to change platforms? Do you know exactly where the departing platform is? Do you know where the escalators/elevators are? Do you know how long the line will be in front of you of other passengers waiting to use the escalators?

If it's from the same platform, you should be OK. If you need to find escalator/elevator and have heavy luggage, or are not prepared to run to the departing platform, then no.
