Hi,
I am planning to visit Japan for 2-3 weeks during April and want to plan according to possible snow coverage as some places are better of with snow and some are not, so to say.
Is there any such map to be found somewhere?

April is Spring in Japan, so you'd need to head north to see snow. Do a Google search for average snowfall and you should find what you're looking for.

Ski resorts in Echigoyuzawa for example will close early April or sooner depending on snow coverage.
Yes, go north.
