where to buy green tea in kyoto?

from my reading i know that ippodo is a good place to buy green tea in kyoto.
But can you guys recommend other good place to buy green tea leaves and green tea bags?

and how much usually does it cost per 100g? my friends wanted me to buy green tea for them

Fukujuen is also nationally quite famous.

Uji is famous for its tea. (Kyoto a little away from the city)
Nakamura Tokichi head office and Ito Kyuemon head office might be famous.

Just about every store in Shinkyogoku or other touristy area will have green tea for sale. Unless you're looking for the expensive and ultra high grade stuff there's no need to go to a specialty store.

We once bought some in Nishiki Market, sorry could not remember the price.
