Akashicho to Asakusa by ferry 2016/6/28 10:34
Is it possible to travel from Akashicho (St Pauls garden) to Asakusa by ferry. If so, what is the timetable or where can I find it.

I assume you are talking about St. Luke's Garden.

On this list, Tokyo Mizube Line's Asakusa - Odaiba cruise seems to cover it.

Looks like you need to contact them to ask about details (scroll down to "Tokyo Mizube Line"):

(Asakusa is where "Sensoji temple" is, so near Sakurabashi, and St. Luke's Garden is marked as "Akashicho- Seiroka garden" on this map.)

You need to board the water bus/fery from Asakusa (Nitenmon) pier.

Searching in Japanese:
Here is the time schedule in Japanese. 1, 2, and 3 are regular service, and A, B, C are special service.

Thanks for that. It only appears to go downstream i.e. from Asakusa to Akashi-cho and i want to go in the other direction. I'll try and contact them.

Ian,

If you look further down the left column of the timetable, you'll see that it makes a loop back to Asakusa. So it does go that way too :)

Ta. I have worked out that when I use Google to translate the page to English, it chops off the last rows between Etchujima & 'Both Countries'.
However, in the japanese version I can see extra rows & times and can Identify Asakusa from the information you provided above.

So it looks like we can get on at Akashico on the way down at 13:15 and have a bit of a tour out to Odaiba before eventually ending up at Asakusa.

many thanks.
