Are close the paths to Misen Mount?

Yesterday someone who was recently in Mijayima said to me that ways to Misen Mount were closed. Is that correct?

It would be unusual for the tracks to be closed (unless they physically managed to block them). Maybe the ropeway was suspended for a period of time.

Did this "someone" give any more info?

I would be quite reasonable for a pathway to be block or maintenance. But there would have been signage and explainations.

There are more than one way up the mountain.
