USJ Harry Potter with a 16 month old 2016/7/10 09:01
Is it worth it to go to USJ Harry Potter with our 15 month old? Are there rides she'll be able to go on or will we be restricted completely other than some photo ops and shopping?

Also, will it be crazy busy (hours of waiting) in October during the week? Thanks!

I don't think you'll find any theme parks catering to a 1.5yo anywhere in the world. They may have kiddy section within the park. But I'm sure USJ Harry Potter isn't aimed at babies.

Monday to Friday is always a lot quieter than weekends.

CHecking on some blogs by moms who went to USJ with babies... for rides there is a min. height of 92cm, so there are many rides where your babies will not be allowed. The ones one mom recommends for babies are:

- Universal Monster Live Rock'n'Roll Show in Hollywood area (baby on your lap)
- Anime Celebration (baby on your lap)
- Cause of Fame in NY area (baby on your lap)
- San Francisco area (enjoy a walk)
- Jurassic Park (enjoy a walk)
- Wizarding World of Harry Potter (enjoy a walk)
- Water World (enjoy the show; baby on your lap)
- Jaws in Amity Villate (can ride if the baby can sit up by her/himself)
and
- Many in Universal Wonderland (either: on your lap of can ride if the baby can sit up by her/himself)

So if you yourself enjoy going there, and are OK with mostly enjoying watching shows and walking around, it should be OK.

(two blogs in Japanese talking about visiting USJ with a baby)
