Travel from Chitose airport to Lake Toya on the JR, which station is the nearest?
2) Will there be much snow in the Asahikawa/ Biei area during late November to early December? How safe is it to drive to the area?

Shin-Chitose Airport has a train station. A bit of a walk but you can use it.
Not much snow if any, safe.
