WeLre visiting Japan next April and planning to visit the amazing Kamikochi area. Just wondering when the 2017 schedule will be released and where can I find this info! Thanks a lot

Your question is pretty clear. The date of opening in April, 2017 is not yet set. It won't be set for a while. It opens mid to late April. To be certain you will be able to get to the area, plan for very late April. Check the various websites of Matsumoto city and Kamikochi to be sure.
