Volcanic activity in Mount Aso on August

I want to know the state of Mount Aso, is the volcano continues erupting being ?Moreover, I want to know if there is any restriction for the Crater because I want to visit on 8 August.

The roads to the crater are destroyed because of the earthquake.
It is not possible to go to Kusasenri for example, even if it is more than one kilometer away form the crater itself.

Can you reference the damages roads to any internet link available please. I have not come across information about no access due to road conditions. Thanks.

It notes some roads are closed. You'd have to assume that the other roads are open then.

There is also recent info from July 31 on the Aso volcano museum website (in JP http://www.asomuse.jp/2016/07/31/【お知らせ】阿蘇山上の道路状況について/ ), which states that all roads leading to the top of Mt.Aso are closed,and access to the volcano crater and Kusasenri is not possible now. The Volcano museum remains currently closed as well.
