Half day in Nagoya

We arrive a the train station Sunday Nov 13 at 11:30. What is open and best ideas to spend the half day touring. We leave the next morning. Also any restaurant suggestions for the evening - we are staying at the Royal Park Hotel.

A really nice half day trip would be the Toyota Techno Museum (not the Factory which is far away). This is in the city of Nagoya and easy to reach by bus from the station. It is usually not crowded and traces the history of the Toyota company from its origins as a textile manufacturer.
The other obvious place to go is Nagoya Castle. It is also easy to reach by subway from the station.

I am for the science museum. Really interactive, fun, and located in a nice park.
The areas nearby are also nice walks that are away from the usual hustle of Japan cities.
