Fuji Hakone Pass, returning to Tokyo

Hi
I will be staying in Fujikawaguchiko 5 days (4 nights). Can I use the Fuji Hakone Pass the first three days, and use the return to Tokyo on my fifth day? Or I have to start the return while the Pass is still valid?

Are you traveling to the Hakone area also? If not, then it might be better to just pay your travel to and from Kawaguchiko and then buy daily bus passes.
